Miyabi Nakabayashi (Assistant Professor, Transdisciplinary Science and Engineering Program) received the 24th Kira Award for young scientist by The Japan Society of Tropical Ecology because her research on seed dispersal of figs, keystone plants in tropical rainforests, by large animals created new knowledge for tropical ecology.
