Â鶹AV Cosmos Nursery Room(in Kasumi campus) invites new children of the fiscal year 2025 (for the regular childcare service).

Faculty, staff and students of Â鶹AV

Persons who cannot care for their baby at home due to work, school, illness, etc.

Even a child, who is already accepted and currently attends the nursery, cannot use the childcare services,
- if an applicant becomes no longer a faculty member or a student of Â鶹AV; or
- while an applicant or his/her spouse(*) is on childcare leave.

*The term "spouse" includes partners who are certified by a document certifying their partnership as shown in the Policies and Guidelines at Â鶹AV for Respecting Gender and Sexual Diversity - To Be Inclusive of LGBT+ Students, Faculty and Staff (approved by the Executive Board on December 27, 2022).same as below.

The following two requirements must be satisfied for enrollment to be accepted.
 1.Infants/toddlers who are on the waiting list of another childcare facility.
 2.Infants aged between 9 weeks and 15 months old (exclusive),
Depending on the capacity of the facility, toddlers aged 15 months or older, may also be enrolled, but only until the end of the school year in which they become 3 years old.

• Cosmos Nursery Room invites children every fiscal year and chooses who to enter depending on £¨You need to log in to "Iroha". £©
• When your spouse is working for Â鶹AV, you do not have to submit a Certificate of Employment.
• When your spouse¡¯s employment period expires by March 31, 2025, please enter where he/she plans to work on or after April 1, 2025 in the remarks column.
  * If you cannot submit a Certificate of Employment of your spouse for the reason as he/she is self-employed or in a poor state of health or caregiving to your relatives, etc., please contact the Gender Equality Promotion Office. £¨Childcare Unit£©
• In the case of a student's application, we might contact his/her supervisor or department office to confirm the enrollment.

¡¡Temporary childcare service is not covered this time.

[About Regarding the elimination of fees for preschool education and childcare]

• From October 1, 2019, a system where preschool education and childcare fees are free has been enforced.
• Cosmos Nursery Room is an unlicensed childcare institution to the free system.
• In order to be eligible for free childcare, it is necessary to receive ¡°certification of need for childcare¡± from the local government where you live.
• For details, please contact the Child Care Division at the local government where you live.
