On March 13, 2023, a hybrid workshop was held, with HIRAKU-Global Consortium Mentor Dr. TODA Takashi instructing the workshop.

During the first half of the workshop, Dr. TODA presented an insightful lecture full of suggestions and advice regarding laboratory management, the skills required as a researcher, and other such key points based on his 21 years of experience managing a research group as a Senior Principal Investigator at the Francis Crick Institute (formerly Cancer Research UK¡¯s London Research Institute) in London, England.
For the second half of the workshop, a question and answer session was undertaken, with the questions that were gathered in advance and those that arose after listening to the lecture being answered. This part of the workshop allowed not only the in-person participants, but also the online participants to actively join in the discussions.
