On December 26th 2018, the delegation from Hiroshima Universty (HU) consisting of Executive and Vice President Toshiyuki Sato, Vice President Yasutoshi Teramoto, Professor Atsuhiro Taki (Dean, Graduate School of Social Sciences) and Professor Daizou Egashira (Dean, School of Law), visited Southwest University of Political Science & Law (SWUPL) located in Chongqing, China. During their visit, they had a discussion and exchange meeting with SWUPL representatives: Vice President Yue Caishen, Vice President Tang Li and Director Guo Meisong of International Cooperation and Exchange Office. SWUPL is a prestigious university in legal education with long history and outstanding academic achievement.

The purpose of this visit was to discuss in detail the promotion of the Joint Training Master¡¯s Program (4+2 Program) in the field of law in order to come up with a concrete vision for this project. Both universities exchanged opinions enthusiastically to ensure the smooth operation of the aforementioned program as well as further partnership, and promised each other to continue working closely together.
