Upon the basic understanding of theory, practice, and attitude of fundamental and clinical nursing, students reflect their values and tendencies and study nursing practice and health system to promote health of people who live in a variety of settings.
In undergraduate education, students learn basic knowledge about global agenda including SDGs and UHC, health system and health management in and outside the country, and a wide range of international practices such as overseas medical aids and care provision for foreign people living in Japan.
In graduate education, students/researchers get opportunities to join international collaboration research such as global comparative data analysis and field research to gain important outcomes with innovative ideas in accordance with global agenda. Through dialogues, they learn to identify: important concepts to promote health of people concerned, methods to measure or describe them, and understanding and interpretation of data from those living with different cultures.
