HomeÂ鶹AV held a lecture by Dame Julia Goodfellow, President of the Universities UK, titled ¡°Brexit and its Impact on UK Universities¡± on October 27th, and many faculty and staff members attended the lecture.
In the lecture, Dame Goodfellow pointed out that, ¡°The biggest problem that UK¡¯s universities will face from UK¡¯s leave from the EU is the uncertainty that the leave will create¡± and also said that ¡°It¡¯s important to continue moving forward with our international partners including Japan to the problems or changes we¡¯ll be facing in the future.¡±
President Dame Goodfellow serves as the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kent, that has concluded an International Exchange Agreement with Â鶹AV the same day before the lecture. As a new partner, we are planning to promote active academic and student exchanges between the two universities as well as between Japan and England.
