On April 25th 2017, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Hiroyuki Makiuchi from the Embassy of Japan in the Dominican Republic visited the Higashi-Hiroshima campus of Â鶹AV and had a meeting with President Mitsuo Ochi.
During the meeting they exchanged opinions on the current and past situation of inter-organizational exchange and cooperation.
HU has experience of collaborated research with the Dominican Republic, and further exchanges are expected.
