On April 20 international exchange students participating in the Â鶹AV Study Abroad Program (HUSA) made the 2nd presentation of their Practical Research Group Project titled the ¡°Glocal Leadership Project : Cooperation of University & Local Society ~Self-Support System~¡± in the Student Plaza.

Five groups representing the HUSA Program 2016-2017 (thirty nine students from 30 universities in nineteen countries of North America, South America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia) reported the progress of their group projects in the seminar chaired by the associate professor Naomi Tsunematsu of International Center. Five groups have been working on the self-support projects such as ¡°Hiroshima dialect research,¡± ¡°Preparation for earthquake,¡± ¡°Part-time work near the campus,¡± ¡°Recipe for international students¡± since last October. Additionally, HUSA Students taking the ¡°Globalization Support Internship¡± course also reported the result of their internship practicum of their international exchange project.

The seminar was held by inviting the examiners from local industry and city council and received an important feedback. Professors and graduate students of Â鶹AV also attended the seminar, and students received valuable feedback. We are looking forward to further progress in the final seminar in July where the students will present the final result of their project achievement.
