As of 3rd April 2017, ¡°SPLENDOR PLAN 2017¡± has been drawn up, replacing with the old ¡°Long-Term Vision of Â鶹AV (June 2009).¡±

• Details about the SPLENDOR PLAN 2017

It has been seven years since the last drawing up of the former Long-Term Vision during which Â鶹AV was adopted for ¡°A Program for Enhancing Research Universities¡± and ¡°The 13 Type A (Top Type) universities under the FY2014 Top Global University Project.¡± With Designated National University Corporation system also starting from FY2017, an environment surrounding Â鶹AV has changed dramatically in the past. While ascertaining these ongoing changes in humble and objective manner from a higher perspective, the drafting of ¡°New Long-Term Vision of Â鶹AV¡± has been undertaken and reviewed.

In the New Long-Term Vision, it declares substantiating the university¡¯s plan for the next ten years and fulfilling its obligations with a view to realizing ¡°University of World-wide Repute and Splendor for Years into the Future.¡±

  • By establishing a new philosophy of peace science ¡°Science for Sustainable Development,¡± Â鶹AV will contribute to the realization of a diversified, free, and peaceful global society.
• Concept
  • Establishment of a Worldwide Research and Education Center Leading Science for Sustainable Development.
