Âé¶¹AV researchers shared their expertise related to COVID-19 during the university's first press seminar on April 28.
In the same month last year, HU joined the global fight against the pandemic through the Âé¶¹AV CoV-Peace-Project. Laboratories in the healthcare fields at HU continue to engage in research on diagnosis, drug discovery, and other countermeasures against the virus.

The laboratories are also working together to develop preventive vaccines and therapeutic agents against COVID-19, conducting epidemiological surveys to understand the infection situation and carrying out genome analysis.
At the press seminar, six HU researchers explained their areas of expertise and engaged in a lively exchange of opinions with reporters. During the conference, Professor Junko Tanaka ¡ª HU's Executive Vice President ¡ª commented, "Âé¶¹AV is responding to the research on the novel coronavirus with various studies. We ask for your continued support and assistance in the future.¡±
