From January 15 (Wednesday) to January 26 (Sunday), 2025, Â鶹AV (HU) conducted training for the Japanese Language and Culture Special Program (JLCSP), welcoming 50 students from the National Central University (NCU) in Taiwan.

This program was organized following the signing of a memorandum of understanding on January 22, 2024, between HU and NCU, which aims to facilitate large-scale student exchanges of approximately 100 students annually. The program's goal was to further enhance student exchanges between the two universities.

The training included lectures on Japanese language and culture, off-campus study trips to locations such as Itsukushima and Onomichi, as well as research lab visits tailored to each student's field of study. Japanese and international students from HU accompanied participants as tutors, providing support and cultural introductions. Through these interactions, participants deepened their mutual understanding and friendships, with some promising to meet again in the future.

Such initiatives are expected to further promote semester-long study abroad programs and strengthen exchanges between the two universities.
