On September 7, 2017, the signing ceremony was conducted between Research Institute for Radiation Biology and Medicine (RIRBM), Â鶹AV and the State Research Center ¨C Burnasyan Federal Medical Biophysical Center of Federal Medical Biological Agency, Russian Federation (FMBC).
FMBC was established in Moscow, Russian Federation in 2007, integrating former two research institutes established in Soviet Union era. It is one of Russian leading institutes in research and education of medical, biological and environmental fields related to radiation.
At the Signing Ceremony held at Hiroshima Univ Kasumi Medical Campus, the Agreement was officially signed by Director Shinya Matsuura from RIRBM and Director General Alexander Samoylov from FMBC in attendance of faculty and staff members from FMBC and Federal Medical Biological Agency of Russia (FMBA) -Professor Sergey Shinkarev and Mr. Andrey Maksimov, Head of international department of FMBA- and Faculty members from Hiroshima Univ RIRBM -Prof. Satoshi Tashiro, Prof. Hiroshi Yasuda and Prof. Nobuyuki Hirohashi- and Graduate School of Biomedical & Health Sciences (GSBH)-Prof. and Dean of GSBH Wataru Yasui-. They all agreed upon promoting future collaborative activities through discussions and opinion exchanges.
The Agreement will facilitate the mutual relationship with joint student / staff exchange between the two institutions.
