One of the biggest challenges in writing for peer-reviewed publications, especially in the social sciences, is representing research in a way that is clear for audiences to understand. This seminar will focus on qualitative data analysis and its role in the research writing process in the social sciences. The seminar will explore useful practices for producing meaningful visualizations through data analysis for the purposes of research writing. It is hoped that the insights shared in this seminar will empower writers of research to better represent their data to scholarly audiences and ensure publication in peer-reviewed publications.
