This event was held as a part of ¡°Japanese Craft History¡± class in the AIMS-HU¡¯s Japanese Culture and Language Program.
The participants made comments such as: ¡°It was a wonderful experience. I used to have the images of ¡®strict manners¡¯ or ¡®formal¡¯ when I heard tea ceremony, but actually it was fun¡±, ¡°In the ceremony, I was able to practice each process and make my own tea in the end. I also learned the concept of ¡®wabi¡¯ and ¡®sabi¡¯ and ¡°My favorite word in the tea ceremony is ¡®Ichigo-Ichie¡¯ (Once-in-a-lifetime opportunity). I want to join in the ceremony again.¡±
