As of April 2018, ¡°Department of Integrated Global Studies (IGS)¡±, a new department of the School of Integrated Arts and Sciences has started. 44 new students joined us as a member of the inaugural class.

On April 4, First-year students¡¯ orientation was held. Address and introduction of IGS was given by Prof. Carolin Funck, the head of IGS.

After that, the students were divided into small groups and discussed ¡°Why do you want to study at IGS?¡± Students actively discussed in English from the first day and they introduced themselves and presented what they want to learn at IGS in English.
