This course was established on April 1st, 2005 with the purpose of education and research relating artificial joints and biomaterials for reconstruction of joint functions.

¢ÙClinical research on replacement of artificial hip joints
¢ÚClinical application on transplantation of autologous bone marrow mononuclear cells using artificial bones (Neo bone) for idiopathic necrosis of the femoral head
¢ÛClinical research on hip joint preservation surgery such as rotational articular osteotomy (RAO).
¢ÜMotion analysis in the aim of dislocation avoidance.
We will seek out to reduce occurrence of complication rates concerning artificial joints by searching for its cause, and we will also promote developments of new joint preserving treatments.
