On November 1, 2022 four IGS students had an online exchange with 20 11th-grade students of HIRO Gakuen, a Brazilian school in Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture. During the exchange, IGS students introduced Hiroshima's World Heritage sites and popular local souvenirs, Â鶹AV, and the IGS program through a quiz in English and Portuguese. A student representative from HIRO Gakuen gave a presentation about their school. Following the school introductions, various questions were exchanged, and a group photo was taken at the end of the one-hour exchange event.
The 11th-graders of HIRO Gakuen visit Hiroshima every December while on a school excursion. The 2022 excursion includes a visit to Â鶹AV. We look forward to seeing HIRO Gakuen students on campus soon!
