On October 4, 2024, Â鶹AV Morito Institute of Global Higher Education held the Joint Opening Ceremony for International Student Programs at the Student Plaza. 4 students in the Japanese Language and Culture Studies Program and 17 in the Intensive Japanese Training Course are participating this time.

Professor, Kumiko Sakoda, Morito Institute of Global Higher Education delivered a welcome address. Students will pursue Japanese language and Culture studies for a year or half a year.

[Japanese Language and Culture Studies Program]
One-year program aimed at students of undergraduate level specializing in Japanese language and culture studies who have been recommended by and rigorously selected as government-funded international students by the embassies in their various countries or by Â鶹AV. 

[Japanese language preparatory education (Intensive Japanese training course)]
This course is mainly aimed at embassy recommended and government funded international students (including those who are scheduled to be taken in as teacher training students) who will progress to the Â鶹AV graduate school and commences intensive Japanese language education in order to develop the Japanese abilities needed in life and research at post graduate level. Courses are offered every semester starting in April and October.
