International Peace and Co-existence Program and International Economic Development Program will abolish the ¡°Special Selection for Working Citizens¡± category for the Master's and Doctoral Course beginning in the 2025 academic year.
In line with this change, starting from the 2025 academic year, all applicants will be required to take the exam for one of the following: ¡°General Selection¡±, ¡°Special Selection for Senior Citizens¡±, or ¡°Special Selection with Recommendation [International Cooperation Experience]¡±.
The written examination for International Peace and Co-existence Program General Selection will be abolished from the selection implemented in 2025 academic year, and the evaluation will be based on document review (including academic transcripts, research proposals, and other application materials) and oral examination. Therefore, there will be no disadvantage due to this abolition.
In International Economic Development Program, the research plan submitted as part of the application process serves as a substitute for the written examination in both the ¡°General Selection¡± and the ¡°Special Selection for Working Citizens.¡± Consequently, the elimination of the ¡°Special Selection for Working Citizens¡± category does not confer any disadvantage upon applicants.
In our graduate programs, when deemed necessary for special educational purposes, education may be conducted through appropriate methods, such as holding classes or providing research guidance at night or at other specific times or periods, as a special measure to the educational method. In the International Peace and Co-existence Program and International Economic Development Program, while the ¡°Special Selection for Working Citizens¡± category for the Master's and Doctoral Course will be abolished from the 2025 academic year, but there will be no change to this special measure.
