A Delegation from Northwest A&F University (China) Visits HU

On November 22, 2024, a delegation led by Mr. Huang Siguang, Chairman of University Council of the Northwest A&F University (NWAFU) in China, paid a courtesy visit to Â鶹AV's Higashi-Hiroshima campus and held discussions with Executive Vice President (Global Initiatives) Shinji Kaneko.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on the possibility of expanding future exchanges and cooperation between the two universities, including joint research programs and faculty and student exchanges.

NWAFU was founded in 1934 in Yangling, the birthplace of agricultural civilization, and is a key national comprehensive university with a wide variety of agriculture-related majors. It plays an important role in cultivating human resources for modern agriculture in Northwest China, and has strengths and characteristics in key departments such as crop genetics and breeding, plant pathology, soil science, agricultural hydraulic engineering, and agricultural economics.

HU has concluded 133 inter-university international exchange agreements with 119 institutions and 84 inter-faculty international exchange agreements with 80 institutions in China. Currently, 1,166 students from China are studying at HU.
We hope that this courtesy visit will strengthen the ties between HU and China in terms of student exchange, education, and research.
