概要
The response of two Egyptian barley cultivars (Giza128 and Giza126) to salt stress has been investigated. Giza128 had superior tolerance to salt stress upon Giza126. Salt treatment induced the upregulation of HvNHX1, HvHVP1, HvHVA, and PM H+-ATPase (Hvha1) genes in Giza128, but not in Giza126. Giza128 was able to mitigate Na+-induced oxidative stress.
