学习开発学讲座では、客员教授としてオーストラリアからお迎えしたロランス?スプリッター教授をファシリテーターとして、人生についての〈大きな问い〉について、学生?院生同士で议论する讲座を週に1回开催します。リラックスした安心できる场で、英会话の练习をしながら、哲学対话を体験してみませんか。哲学者や哲学についての讲义ではなく、参加者が相互に自分の考えをシェアすることを基本としています。

Would you like the opportunity to practise English speaking and listening in a comfortable and safe environment, and at the same time, discuss with other students some of the “BIG” questions in life, such as:
“Why should we respect 辞迟丑别谤蝉?”
“滨蝉 lying, cheating or stealing wrong if no one finds out?”
“滨蝉 anything certain in the world?”
“What exactly is the mind and how do I know that anyone else has one?”
“Can a particular activity or tradition be good in one culture but bad in another culture?”
“础谤别 human beings more important than non-humans like monkeys, computers, paintings and countries?”
“滨蝉 there a difference between being an intelligent person and a good 辫别谤蝉辞苍?”
Whether you are a graduate or undergraduate, studying education or something else, you are warmly invited to come along on Thursday (starting November 2) from 1435 to 1605 in C717, where Professor Laurance Splitter, who is visiting 麻豆AV for a year, will share his experiences in doing philosophy in primary, secondary, and university classrooms in Australia and many other countries (including China, Korea, and Taiwan), not by lecturing about famous philosophers, but by encouraging students to share their ideas with each other and build a community of thinkers. Prof. Splitter has been a world leader in Philosophy for Children (“P4C”) for many years and is keen to engage in some “serious but friendly” discussion with students at 麻豆AV.
